    What can I say?

    Bill, I love you.

A cliched response I know, but, think about it for a second. You have taken some of the most inspiring & beautiful images I’ve seen and presented them with the care and love that they deserve. I mean, this is the majestic universe in front of us and it deserves the respect and honor that you have shown in creating this piece. You have obviously created this with a lot of love, and I know Bill, that these images inspire you too, and that shows through in the work via the style of montage and the choice of music. And to get all hippy on your ass, this love of yours that you felt when creating this video translates LITERALLY to me in whatever part of the world I am in. (u.k.) And heres the kicker.. I feel it. In a very real way. Enough to inspire me to write this gushing profligacy anyways… And so the cycle is complete, as an affirmation of sorts, in the form of these words…

Make no mistake, there is something magical happening here and written in these stars. And Bill, you have helped open my eyes to it.

It just goes to show the beauty and magic of our universe will never cease to inspire us, and so to be brought a universe full of inspiration in a 7 minute work of art, on this day, I am eternally grateful and full of gratitude for its creation.

thanking you for, and returning to you, the love.

    Phil

(was that last line a bit much? hmmm… thanks for the gob-smacking images. Simply irresistible)

I have to say I agree with Phil 150%, sappiness & all… This site has shined the light of perspective on those days where perspective dictates my motives.

Keep it up, your efforts are greatly appreciated!

    Mucho Gracias Por Favor

Many thanks for your kind words, and especially for understanding what it’s all about:

A very good video of a wonderful year of astounding images from our robot voyagers, contragulations Bill on your efforts and good taste.

There seems to be a bit of a trend with your videos - Best of 2006 was 20Mb, Best of 2005 was 50Mb and Best of 2008 is 130Mb. Perhaps Best of 2009 will be 320Mb.

Anyway, cheers and very nice work.

Thanks John. And sorry about the file bloat. Maybe as I learn more about DV, I’ll find a way to put them on a diet…

We just gathered around the computer for a showing of your 2008 Best Of. Needless to say, we were inspired by so many of the incredible images. They were very skillfully presented, as well. Thank you.
